Column
These columns are designed as complete column chromatography systems. A large funnel is provided for the solvent with a flow-control Teflon® metering valve supplied for easy control of solvent flow onto the column.
A coarse porosity fritted disc is sealed in to provide for packing support. The volume below the disc is minimized to prevent mixing and to allow clear, sharp band definition.
Funnel drip-tip extends well below inner ground joint to reduce solvent turbulence on column. Column flow is easily controlled by a Teflon® stopcock.
Separating funnel stopcock has a 4mm. plug. The column stopcock has a 2mm. plug. |
